S355MC -- thermomechanically rolled HSLA structural steel. Re>=355 MPa in as-rolled condition, excellent cold formability. The standard for roll-formed vehicle body components, yellow goods and light structural cold-formed profiles.
S355MC per EN 10149-2 (1.0976). TMCP (thermomechanically controlled processing) with Nb+V microalloying achieves Re>=355 MPa in hot-rolled strip directly cold-formable. CE~0.26 -- excellent weldability (no pre-heat for most thicknesses). Standard for cold-formed structural profiles, roll-formed vehicle frame rail sections, agricultural machinery frames and light structural sections in yellow goods (excavators, telehandlers).
