Hardox 500 — 470-530 HB through-hardened abrasion-resistant steel. Better wear life than Hardox 400 for the most demanding abrasive applications.
Hardox 500 per SSAB specification. Higher hardness (470-530 HB) than Hardox 400 (370-430 HB) gives approximately 40% better wear resistance in impact-abrasion. Through-hardened in thicknesses 4-80 mm. Standard for the most abrasive dump truck liners, crusher wear parts and bucket corners where Hardox 400 life is insufficient.
