S700MC -- thermomechanically rolled HSLA steel. Re>=700 MPa, excellent cold formability. For high-strength cold-formed vehicle frames, trailer chassis and mobile crane boom sections without Q+T heat treatment.
S700MC per EN 10149-2. Thermomechanically controlled processing (TMCP) with V+Nb+Ti microalloying achieves Re>=700 MPa in as-rolled condition without quench-and-temper. Unlike S690QL (Q+T), S700MC is delivered cold-formable and can be roll-formed, bent and press-formed in delivery condition -- enabling direct fabrication into vehicle frame profiles. Standard for trailer chassis, tipper truck bodies, agricultural machinery frames and mobile equipment structures.
