EN AW-6013 (AlMg1Si0.8CuMn) per EN 573-3. Cu addition (0.6-1.1%) to 6xxx base chemistry gives 25% higher strength than 6082-T6 (Rm 380 vs 310 MPa) while maintaining good corrosion resistance and weldability. Better damage tolerance than 2xxx alloys. Standard for aircraft fuselage lower panels (replaceable, damage-tolerant) and high-end automotive structural sheet.
