90Cr3 -- low-alloy Cr cold work steel. HRC 60-63. For punches, small dies, cold chisels and tools where higher alloy cost of D2 or O1 is not justified but better performance than W1 is needed.
90Cr3 (EN 1.2056) per EN ISO 4957. Cr (0.6-0.9%) in 0.85-0.95% C base gives modestly better hardenability and wear than W1. Oil hardening. Small dies, punches and tools for light production runs. Lower cost than O1 or D2.
